Meet Ann Stahlheber, Cardiovascular Health Program, Cuy. County Board of Health

Ann Stahlheber

Annie has counseled over 6,000 clients on various nutrition issues. She specializes in preventive health, wellness, and sports nutrition. Annie also has extensive training on creating exercise regimens.

She recommends that every healthy person visit a Registered Dietitian get a "nutrition checkup" every year. Without an annual checkup, dietary problems can become habits that are very difficult to change. An annual "nutrition checkup" can help prevent chronic health conditions.

Meet Casey Atkinson, R.D., L.D., Cuy. County Board of Health

Casey Atkinson

Casey Atkinson has worked as a Public Health Pediatric Dietitian in the area of Community Health Services at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) since January 2003. She is currently the Project Director of the Steps to a Healthier Cleveland, Healthcare Provider Education Program. November 2004, she was awarded a Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management through the American Dietetic Association and Commission on Dietetic Registration. In 2007, she was named Program Manager of Nutrition Services and also began chairing the CCBH worksite wellness program.

Casey has extensive experience in nutrition education and has been featured on Cleveland’s NBC Channel 3 News health segments. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Youngstown State University and currently works at a local wellness center presenting nutrition workshops for overweight parents and children.

Meet Amanda Angey, DTR, Cuy. County Board of Health

Amanda Angey

Amanda Angey is a registered Dietetic Technician with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Amanda joined the Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) in May 2007. She co-chairs the CCBH worksite wellness program and has played a major role in implementing new and exciting activities to promote good nutrition, increased physical activity and a holistic way of life for all employees. She also has extensive experience in community nutrition education.

Amanda has an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dietetic Technology from Cuyahoga Community College and an Associates of Applied Science degree in Marketing and Floral design from the Ohio State University-Agricultural Technical Institute.
