Mayoral Business Update meeting
On Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 chamber members gathered for the WHACC Tri-City Business Update Meeting. We were treated to delicious hors d'oeuvres served by top interns from area high schools along side the Marriott Cleveland East's culinary team. Like most companies today, all three mayors stated their city has been affected by the downturn in the economy. However, there are businesses moving to our area and each mayor was hopeful progress will continue to be made. LifeBanc and a new fitness center which will be operated by the YMCA are just a few of the projects designated to open in 2010. To summarize, the evening's message was simply stay positive and welcome change. Click here to see all the photos -thanks to Clifford Norton Studios
Breakfast at BJ's and a surprise gift
If you missed the breakfast meeting at BJ's Wholesale Club you missed more than networking with over 40 members. Add to the "missed" list: Home made waffles from BJ's, a full year FREE membership to BJ's Wholesale club (what a great surprise!), and gift certificates from Panera Bread....and one lucky member walked away winning an iPod shuffle. Thanks to everyone for coming and thanks to BJ's Wholesale Club for being such great hosts. Click here to see all the photos -thanks to Clifford Norton Studios
Featured Employee Profiles for 2010 -Thanks to Clifford Norton Studios

Beginning in January 2010, we will give our members an opportunity to recognize an employee for outstanding business characteristics, exceptional performance or charitable acts of kindness. Once selected, we will include a photo (compliments of Michael Lichterman of Clifford Norton Studios) and a brief summary highlighting your nominee's successes in our next newsletter. If you wish to nominate someone from your organization, please email Terri Criss at crisstl@kellyservices.com
