It's Never Too Late!

Did you know statistics indicate January 24th is the day many people give up their New Years' resolutions and return to their former negative habits? Are you surprised you made it until January 31st like I did?

The great thing to remember about resolutions is you can make them any time during the year and there is only one person that can help you keep your resolutions--you! Dedicate yourself to adopting new behaviors and avoid the desire to return to your comfort zone. Admit to yourself your goal is hard and it requires maximum effort to achieve.

Remember the message from last month's speaker Sophie Sureau, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen for the Cure --Things happen for a reason and only you can make the decision to become a survivor. Lastly, keep your eye on the prize and look forward to celebrating your successes!

Best wishes,
Terri Criss, WHACC Communications Committee Chair
